Hills Park is a go to spot for families and travelers alike for hiking, picnicing, camping and sledding in the winter. Amenities include 26 campsites, two shelter houses, restrooms, grills, playground equipment, and a 9 hole Frisbee golf course. The Sheldon Recreational Trail Head is found in the park. The arch was made from over 3000 bricks salvaged from the old middle school which was once the Sheldon High School and Junior College. The Rec trail boasts 6 miles of asphalt trail available for hiking, biking, or skating. Seniors and those with disabilities can apply for a permit to use a golf cart on the trail.
The park closes from 11 pm to 6 am. Please do not cache during this time. The park is under camera surveillance. BYOP Bring your own pen.
