Kalkaska had a plethora of small communities, especially during the early lumber boom. Each Cache in this Series is near where a Post Office use to operate, along with the years of operations.
Rugg Opened as Rapid River Nov. 8, 1871. Name to Mossback Jan. 30, 1885. Name to Rugg Oct. 3, 1898. Disc. Dec. 31, 1905.
