Located next to the old alignment of the Nantlle Railway which brought Slate down from the Quarries of Dyffryn Nantlle to the harbour town of Caernarfon. This path is now part of a link between the village of Talysarn and the NCN8 Lon Las Cymru (Locally known as Lon Eifion) which is a national cycle route from Holyhead to Chepstow
