this cache is a magnetic slide cache (MICRO) and is hidden inside of the metal plate, make sure you are stealthy and quiet, mostly, there are very few people here, there are no spiders in this area here, I made sure none of the caches get scared from the spiders, and make sure you put it in the exact spot of where it was as its the most tight. here's the story about this monument:
The reykjavik city museum has responsibility for the historic fishing site at Grímsstaðavör. in 2018 archaeological excavations were carried out on the site, and the soil around the fishing shacks was replaced with gravel in order to keep the area clear of weeds. in the coming years each shack is to be restored and reinforced off site, while retaining its character largely unchanged. for further information, please contact the reykjavik City museum, website: www.borgarsogusafn.is
