This cache is placed along the Sunken Mine trail which can be accessed from Sunken Mine Road or from the Three Lakes trail. The parking coordinates are for a lot at the north end of Sunken Mine Rd that is about ½ mile from the trail head. During the summer you can also park in one of several individual spaces along Sunken Mine Road, which is dirt but mostly well graded. The trailhead coordinates indicate where the Sunken Mine trail reaches Sunken Mine Rd. The intersection between the Sunken Mine trail and the Three Lakes trail is at N41 26.135 W073 51.406.
The title of this cache is derived from a medieval, 13th century song about summer. The cache is a small lock-and-lock hidden a bit off the trail at the end of a large ledge.
