This cache series is dedicated to all of us who at one time or another “ruled our world from a pay phone” It also pays tribute to the now forgotten blue iconic stand alone corner phone booths (cabinets) and all of those blue phone booths that lined up along convenience store walls and gas stations throughout this Great country.
And finally, who can forget the very popular and iconic love song, “Operator” by the late and great, singer and songwriter, Jim Croce.
Operator…let's forget about this call,
no one there I really wanted to talk to.
Thank you for your time, you've been so much more than kind,
you can keep the dime.
This cache series begins with #1 on a main street in Emporia, Virginia. It is my goal to eventually place 1000 caches of this series along and throughout the USA.
You are searching for a large black magnetic key holder. Congrats to JustJo3 for a very early morning FTF. So let it be written; so let it be done.
The cacher who let me know about this booth had 900/487 for their last co-ords. Take your pick. If you want to join in, let me know.
