A trail less traveled, just east of Glenwood. This trail has become a little more popular since the Grizzly Creek fire shut down the Grizzly Creek trail and Hanging Lake but still doesn't see the large crowds. Make your way up just over a mile where you will come to a split in the trail. It's at this location you will see the box canyon on your right. While observing the creek, look behind you and there it will be.
If you are up for a great hike after finding this cache, continue on the trail to the left. After the switchback you will cross the second stream at what I call Little Jess Weaver Falls. Just after the 3 mile marker you will come to the first bridge. Most people turn back here but if you keep going you will come to another split in the trail. Stay to the left. At the 5 mile marker you will see a plaque on a rock dedicated to Jess Weaver. He passed away at this location while crossing the creek in high water. In the late summer and fall the water is low enough to cross. The trail continues on for another three miles into the Flat Tops along west No Name creek.
