UPDATE 4/6/2025
I am tired of this cache getting muggled, I was going to archive it, but this is the location that Car of Carels was the FTF, so I've replaced it with a micro. The green bison is about 2 feet horizontal from where the original cache was, but it's about 6 feet away vertically, therefore the coords are still good. Hint adjusted. I have come up with a fix for the lid falling off the original container that e-r-h/juan2jam's son skillfully etched and have hidden Remembering Else Take 2. Look for GCB5BYA to be published shortly.

I checked on the cache today and found the the lid not pressed all the way down and the plastic bag for the logbook sticking out. I know the lid is a little wonky, but please make sure it is on correctly and shut completely. Thank you.
As the title suggests, this is a tribute cache to Else, the "els" of carels. She had an infectious smile and cared about everyone she met. She loved her job at Penn State working on the electron microscope where she had an office next to mugglehoney (before they became known as mugglehoney). She loved to draw whimsical images for the children and the young at heart in her life. Below is one such image - can you figure out which figure is Carsten?
She also liked everything alien which is how she and Carsten became known by their "Carels was here sticker".
To know her was to love her.
When you log your find, try to include a favorite story, memory or picture you have of Else.
The container is a large beautifully etched ammo can. (A bigh thank you goes out to juan2jam's son!) To start, it is filled with alien items. Try to trade one alien for another. Also, a thank you goes to JBT's wife and TheGeoSleuth for working with CRPR on the location.
