Hello! And welcome to another CASH Cache.
Please don't get too excited by the name. There is no money to be found inside the container. In this instance, CASH stands for Concealed Around St Helier. And that's exactly what I intend to do. Bit by bit I hope to create a series of geocaches that encircles the whole of St Helier.
This one is located on the site of Fort D’Auvergne, a former military installation that was first constructed in 1756. Also nearby is the Havre des Pas bathing pool. Originally built in 1895, this was home to the Jersey Swimming Club right up until the early 1970’s. The pool is still very popular today, particularly in the summer months – Therefore stealth may well be required when you’re conducting a search for the cache in this location.
