The Foothills Trail is a 12-foot wide non-motorized asphalt trail atop a historic railroad bed which snakes thruough the Puyallup Valley through Orting and onto the city of Buckley. The trailhead has room for parking and a kiosk with information of the trail. The 21 mile trail is popular for commuters ,bikers and of course walkers.
This area starts your trip on a nice open trail where you might see small animals, birds, smell the sweet berries in the summer and a liitle further down the trail the smell of a christmas tree farm.
Have a nice trip and find a cache or two.
