There are several older caches placed in this area. Today I visited this area and parked at the Charles Hodges Conservation Area parking lot off Stumpfield Road. This trail system is used by hikers and mountain bikers. There are two very large field adjacent to this parking and even a livestock crossing on the way. People still farm, hay and have cattle and horses nearby. It is a beautiful rural area. There is parking here for at least 5-6 vehicles. This area was funded by a grant from the NH Rec. Trails Program. The cache is located to the right of parking, as your back is toward Stumpfield Road. It is a blue bison in a sapling. Please look out for poison ivy and ticks. Enjoy the trails system and hope you find it a peaceful spot. You may need a TOTT to extract the log.
