During the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the olympic cauldron was lit at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Mission Viejo hosted part of the Olympics right here along Olympiad Road with two (men's and women's) road race (cycling) events. The image below is from when I attended the Special Olympics Closing Ceremonies in 2015, which were held in the same venue as the 1984 opening and closing ceremonies (as well as a variety of competitions).
This cache is hidden next to Olympiad Road, along the original Olympic route. Use stealth and BYOP when finding the cache. Also, please replace exactly as you found it.
