Geocaching started when I was a middle schooler at Stellar Secondary, and begged my mom to try it out. Many moons later a friend mentioned she had a new activity for us to try and of course I was all for it. That was 3 years ago today. I grimace in pain every time I think of how many finds and souvenirs I could have had had that old lady obliged.
But I digress.
It's my 3rd cache-iversary. Today I logged my 500th find. And attended my first CITO. Along with it my first locationless cache. And completed my first Whereigo. Figured no better time to hide my very first cache as well.
I’m in this alley just about daily, running between the two buildings, checking on this, taking care of that or just playing in the dirt while working on my green thumb. Typically when I see new caches published, I’m at my desk. Either biting my nails or doing the Peepee Shimmy Potty Dance as it's been dubbed, just itching for a First To Find. Even contemplated closing up shop for a few that literally were in under half mile radius. Cache is nothing fancy or crazy, just a nod to how I feel mixing here and caching.
I do have handful I’ve been working on, maybe one day I’ll finally hit PUBLISH. Who knows.
