Congratulations to fsibero for First-To-Find.
The eighth in a series of nine, taking you to all of the communities of Goshen County, Wyoming.
Torrington, Lingle, Ft. Laramie, Jay Em, Huntley, Veteran, Yoder, Hawk Springs and La Grange.
(Actually, there is a tenth, bonus cache, if you complete all nine. There will be a piece of information/clue in each cache, on a popsicle stick.
Make sure you put the clue back in the cache.)

Wyoming is my adopted state, with Torrington, Goshen County, as my adopted town. I have finally started hiding caches and wanted to see more mystery types, so I'm creating a Mystery Cache hide in each community in Goshen County. The physical caches shouldn't be too hard to locate, and the Mystery puzzles can all be solved from home with a little research. They are probably on the simple end of the spectrum and may be suitable to introduce new geocachers to mystery puzzles.
Hawk Springs - Census-Designated Place Wikipedia

Hawk Springs is a wide spot on U.S. 85, about 15 minutes south of Torrington, on your way to Cheyenne.
But they've got a post office,

a community center,

and a volunteer fire department.

There's no gas station, but two great restaurants.
The Emporium

and The Longbranch (under remodeling at the moment).

And during the summer, they put on a hamburger feed once a month, to raise money for community projects Really fun.
The cache:
The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
The posted coordinates will take you to the post office.
The cache coordinates are N 41° xx.xxx' W 104° xx.xxx'
