CA Parks: Cabrillo National Monument Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ScaredCactus: I have decided to remake this series in a different location, so I will have to archive these caches as they are not close enough to the new location. I ran into some key problems when making this powertrail and I was not happy with the quality of caches and the locations they were in. With more experience now I hope to bring a new and improved CA Parks series.

Geocache Description:

Climbing out of his boat and onto shore in 1542, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo stepped into history as the first European to set foot on what is now the West Coast of the United States. In addition to telling the story of 16th-century exploration, the park is home to a wealth of cultural and natural resources. Here you embark on your own Voyage of Exploration.

This series of caches is themed around the National Parks of California, including national monuments, historic sites, seashores, and more. It will take you along Bay Road and Atherton. All of the caches were placed within a few feet of the road and there is no need to go into private property. All park descriptions are cited from the National Park Service's website.

Please replace as found and please be stealthy as most of the caches are placed in suburban areas.
