Walk among old growth coast redwoods, cooling their roots in the fresh water of Redwood Creek and lifting their crowns to reach the sun and fog. Federally protected as a National Monument since 1908, this primeval forest is both refuge and laboratory, revealing our relationship with the living landscape.
This series of caches is themed around the National Parks of California, including national monuments, historic sites, seashores, and more. It will take you along Bay Road and Atherton. All of the caches were placed within a few feet of the road and there is no need to go into private property. All park descriptions are cited from the National Park Service's website.
Please replace as found and please be stealthy as most of the caches are placed in suburban areas.
