Earworms are songs that get stuck in your head. Sometimes you know why. For me, it’s always dubious why suddenly I keep hearing voices singing “Sky rockets in flight...” or “Yeah, this here’s the Rubber Duck...” If you’ve looked at logs I have posted for caches in this cemetery, or descriptions for other hides in this area, you can see I have a fascination with the residents of this hallowed place, and an uncanny knack for not finding caches hidden here without repeated attempts. What follows is a rough transcription of my thoughts while searching for Dochiro’s hide.
After walking up and down and back and forth for over an hour – something I expect to do when looking for that type of cache – I told myself I needed to Roll With It. I bet the people here at one point thought they would Live Forever. Pfft, Whatever! Getting this FTF would make me a Rock ‘n’ Roll Superstar! But, no find this time.
The next day, my wife said she’d be fine if I went back to look again. I was thinking She Is Love as I headed back. But, after looking again and again, no success. I left, after contacting the CO about my lack of progress thinking, Don’t Look Back in Anger! With some added insight, I started searching through bushes, a real Shakermaker! But nothing, so I left again, telling myself Don’t Look Back in Anger!
And now, with the addition of a few more caches, this location has become a cacher’s oasis among the relative desert of open fields. The cache is not located near any headstones or markers, or even in the cemetery! There is no clues to be found on the grounds of the cemetery.
