A most unusual little tree, just off the Waimahanga walking and cycling track.
I can only assume it was strangled in it's early life by some of the abundant creeper vines and so grew the way it has.
This tree is approx 4 or 5 metres above the track. Please try not to create too obvious a geotrail through the feathery creeping vines and use a bit of stealth before stepping off the track, so muggles don't become suspicious. Also watch out for cyclists when returning to the track, as they can sometimes be going quite fast along here.
Cache is now a large bison, nearer to the track and no longer really big enough for swaps.
