Downtown Lewiston has long been a hub of activity for the region. From the city’s inception as a last stop for the boats bringing miners to Idaho on the search for gold, the area now known as downtown Lewiston has been a center for commerce and entertainment. Many of Idaho's “firsts” (including the First Territorial Capital) occurred near Lewiston’s Main Street. Downtown retains many historical buildings which remind us of our community's importance as a port city and regional business hub.
This location has been used twice before for geocaches but after years of constant mugglings, the cache owners regrettfully archived them. This new container is somewhat unique which should keep it from getting MUGGLED but it may also be pretty difficult for inexperienced cachers. Difficulty rating is due to the unique container and the extremely high muggle threat. There is no need to open any of the electrical equipment. Use stealth!
Ground Zero is flat and wheelchair accesible. It may be a hard reach if you are sitting though.
