As you hike along the trail along Mud Pond, you have many opportunities of a view. Up ahead you will come to the Waterfowl blind. Mud Pond and its associated wetland areas provide habitat for Great Blue Heron, Wood Duck, Marsh Wren, and the state threatened Pied-billed Grebe.
