Tämän kätkösarjan tarkoitus on kannustaa sinut melomaan 70 kilometriä pitkä Jongunjoen melontareitti Kuhmon Jonkerista Lieksan Nurmijärvelle. Lähtöpisteen infotaulusta:
Jongunjoki on erämaisen kaunis, lähes 70 km pitkä melontareitti, jolla koko matkallaan on putousta noin 80 m. Vauhdikkaalla reitillä on 50 koskea, jotka ovat hyvin laskettavissa, mutta osaan kannattaa tutustua etukäteen rannalta käsin.
Reitti on melottavissa noin 2-3 vuorokaudessa riippuen siitä, kuinka pitkiä taukoja haluaa pitää. Matkan varrelle osuu kaksi autiotupaa sekä kotus, joiden ympäristö soveltuu myös telttailuun, mutta muita hyviä telttapaikkoja ei juuri näkynyt. Reitin lukuisat kosket kannattaa huomioida melontakalustoa valitessaan: jos et käytä aukkopeitettä, äyskäröimään pääset lähes varmasti! Piilotin reitin varrelle seitsemän kätköä, minkä lisäksi muutama muiden piilottama kätkö osuu myös lähistölle.
Boguspisteeltä ei löydy mitään kätköön liittyvää, mutta siellä sijaitsee Aittokosken kota. Kätkö on reverse wherigo, joka sijaitsee boguksesta alajuoksun suuntaan.

Kuinka luon itse Reverse Cache -wherigon?
Voidaksesi luoda omia Reverse Cache -wherigoita sinun on ensin löydettävä vähintään yksi sellainen itse.
Kun suoritat Reverse Cache -wherigon, saat henkilökohtaisen PIN-koodin, jonka tarvitset uusien Reverse Cache -wherigoiden luomiseen. Voit käyttää sitä useamman kerran.
Kun käynnistät wherigo-kasetin, valitse "Play":n sijasta "Create" ja syötä PIN-koodisi.
Mene paikkaan, johon aiot piilottaa fyysisen kätköpurkin ja paina "OK". Saat kolme numerosarjaa, joihin loppupisteen sijainti on koodattu, listattavaksi kätkökuvauksessasi.

This trail encourages you to paddle the 70 km long River Jongunjoki canoe trail from Lake Jonkeri in Kuhmo to Lake Nurmijärvi in Lieksa. As described in the info board:
The river Jongunjoki is a wilderness river, which flows about 70 km in its natural state. The total fall of the river is about 80 m. The route contains 50 rapids and streams, some of which need to be checked out beforehand from the shore.
The route can be travelled in 2-3 days depending how long you want to canoe each day. There are two wilderness huts and a shelter along the route. In the immediate vicinity of those you can find a good sites for your tent as well. Use your whitewater deck or you will definitely get wet! I hid seven caches along the route, and additionally there are some caches hidden by others nearby.
At the given coordinates there is nothing related to the cache, but you can find the Aittokoski hut there. The cache itself is a reverse wherigo located downstream.
How to find a Reverse Cache?
In order to find this Reverse Cache you need to download Wherigo cartridge made by -Waldmeister- that is located here.
As a second step you have to type in three numbers:

Every time you ask, the cartridge will give you information about your distance to the cache, but not the direction.
Based on these distances you should deduce the final location where the cache is hidden.
How to create a Reverse Cache by yourself?
The only thing you have to do is to find at least one Reverse Cache.
When you complete Reverse Cache cartridge it will return you a couple of digits - write them down - it is your personal pincode for making Reverse Cache Wherigo cartridges. You can use your pincode multiple times.
After restarting cartridge, instead of "Play" you need to choose "Create" - here you have to type in your pincode.
At the location where you hide physical container just press "OK" and you will be given three numbers. Final position is coded into those three numbers. You should publish those three numbers on your Reverse Cache page.
