Welcome to the QOGM 2022 multi-day Experience
QOGM is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, an annual outback geocaching experience.
In 2022, it will be hosted in the Murweh Shire, based in Chareville.
Commencing Wednesday 28th September and ending late Saturday 1st October.
A muster is the process of gathering livestock. Musters usually involve cattle, sheep or horses, but may also include goats, camels, buffalo or other animals. (So says the "Wiki").
Outback Central Queensland is just like that – we have cattle and sheep, horses and goats and even camels. That's in addition to our native animals - kangaroos, brolgas, emus, eagles, galahs, parrots, lizards, termites, and so on.
In addition to all that in Murweh, we have Clear Skies which show off their STARS! So lets align the Stars and get Geocaching!
To kick the Muster off, you are invited to attend our "Welcome to Country" Ceremony on Thursday September 29th at 7.30am.
This event will take place in the Charleville Racecourse Rooms
It will be followewd by the Official Welcome from the Mayor of the Murweh Shire Council.
You can view the CURRENT AGENDA for the four days HERE.
So get your Stargazing gear in order, and get yourselves along to kick off QOGM 2022 in style!
