Geocache Description:

Where the West River meets Winter Harbor, a nice quiet spot off the road. Say hello to the pair of Swans swimming by 🦢🦢, and please don't litter! When we visit this area we bring an empty bag to collect trash so the wind doesn't take it out into the sea. 💚🌎💙

📷GC8NEAT is a locationless cache created by Geocache HQ and is available until December 2022 ... take a photo of your clean up efforts here to log the GC8NEAT cache also! 🙂👍

🌎Join geocachers around the world to improve the outdoors, celebrate 20 years of geocaching, and log a rare cache type in 2021-22! This HQ-owned cache provides a unique opportunity to contribute to environmental improvement and protection efforts in a way that’s most meaningful and safe for you.

How to participate:

Participate individually or with a small group (after checking the current guidance from public health authorities). The possibilities are endless, but could include:

Clean up garbage in your neighborhood or favorite walking path.

Join an existing community effort to remove invasive species, plant trees, and improve parks.

Bonus points for using alternative (green) transport during your efforts, whether it’s biking, walking, skating, taking a bus, etc.!

Logging task:

Include one (1) photo of yourself or a personal item with the results of your outdoor improvement effort. At least one photo of your outdoor improvement is required to log this cache.

Tell us where your improvement effort took place (for example, the city of Berlin).

Optional: Provide additional images of your improvement effort, great storytelling in your log is highly encouraged.

This Locationless Cache was available to log February 6, 2021 through December 31, 2022, and reintroduced in 2023. We hope you seek out many opportunities to improve the outdoors, but you can only log one find on this cache.

🌏🌎🌍Follow these steps if you found or saw a trackable in a geocache or in someone else's possession:

On Geocaching.com enter the tracking code in the trackable search or select a trackable from your inventory.
On the right of the trackable details page select Add a Log Entry.
Select from the available log types:
Retrieve, pick up a trackable from the geocache.
Discover It, say you saw the trackable.
Grab it, from another cache or another geocacher.
Write note to the trackable’s owner.
Write your log and (optionally) upload a photo.

✨️Follow these steps to drop a trackable in a geocache or log a visit to a geocache:

From a cache page, select Log geocache.
Below the text box, select an action for each trackable from your inventory:
Drop, leave the trackable in a geocache.
Visit, take a trackable to a cache but keep it with you when you leave.

🌍🌎🌏😀👍Happy trails to you!
