CA Parks: Joshua Tree National Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ScaredCactus: I have decided to remake this series in a different location, so I will have to archive these caches as they are not close enough to the new location. I ran into some key problems when making this powertrail and I was not happy with the quality of caches and the locations they were in. With more experience now I hope to bring a new and improved CA Parks series.

Geocache Description:

Two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and Colorado come together in Joshua Tree National Park. A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the wonder of this vast wilderness in southern California.

This series of caches is themed around the National Parks of California, including national monuments, historic sites, seashores, and more. It will take you along Bay Road and Atherton. All of the caches were placed within a few feet of the road and there is no need to go into private property. All park descriptions are cited from the National Park Service's website.

Please replace as found and be stealthy as most caches are placed in suburban areas.
