CA Parks: John Muir National Historic Site Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ScaredCactus: I have decided to remake this series in a different location, so I will have to archive these caches as they are not close enough to the new location. I ran into some key problems when making this powertrail and I was not happy with the quality of caches and the locations they were in. With more experience now I hope to bring a new and improved CA Parks series.

Geocache Description:

John Muir played many roles in his life, all of which helped him succeed in his role as an advocate for Nature. As America’s most famous naturalist and conservationist, Muir fought to protect the wild places he loved, places we can still visit today. Muir’s writings convinced the U.S. government to protect Yosemite, Sequoia, Grand Canyon, and Mt. Rainier as national parks.

This series of caches is themed around the National Parks of California, including national monuments, historic sites, seashores, and more. It will take you along Bay Road and Atherton. All of the caches were placed within a few feet of the road and there is no need to go into private property. All park descriptions are cited from the National Park Service's website.

Please replace as found and please be stealthy as most of the caches are placed in suburban areas.
