Eudora Park

Eudora is a small community in Desoto County of about 300 people. Legend has it that it was named after a farmer was yelling at a mule or horse named, "Dora," while she was not cooperating one day while they were plowing. He continued to yell, "You...Dora!"

The Eudora Community Park and Trail is located at 9341 Hwy 304, Hernando, Mississippi in Western DeSoto County. This park is located next to the Eudora Fire Department, which continually helps to maintain the park. It features: a walking trail, playground, tennis court, and a ball field. The walking trail is approximately 1/3 mile in length.
The ball field is open to the public year round unless an organized team has reserved the field.

There is also a Giving Pantry and a Little Library, so if can bring some non perishable goods and books when you come to visit, that would be a
blessing to others in the community.
