Welcome to the Cape Clear Recreation Reserve. Here you will find the Cape Clear Recreation Reserve Public Hall, in which contains historical items such as the Pitfield Plains State School Roll of Honour Board (WW1), 150 000L of bore-filled water storage tanks for local community use due to there being no town water connected, and an open space, formerly the oval for the local football and cricket clubs. Its a great little spot to stretch the legs for yourselves and/or your fur babies if you are out touring. However if toilets are required the nearest public ones are at the small park opposite the Post Office on the main road through town.
As the location of the cache is readily visible from the hall, it would be advised to give this one a miss if there is an event on if you are here ie Polling Days etc. A small cache but shouldn't be too hard to find. Not much room for swaps, please cover again after you find it. Thx and enjoy.
