I am a young geocacher and this is my first set of caches. I have decided to combine my interest in geocaching with my interest in railways. This is a set of 5 caches (4 plus a bonus) placed along the disused railway line between the old Monmouth Troy station and a well-known budget supermarket! Don’t forget to collect the bonus numbers from the top of the log in each cache.
The caches can be started from either end and parking is available at the supermarket or Troy Gardens (but please be respectful of the residents). The caches can be combined with Really Sidetracked – Monmouth Troy.
#4 – A nano cache, first or last depending on your direction. Fairly straightforward but be careful of the busy road as there is no footpath on this side, so keep an eye on young children. Not a cache and dash.
