In the Shadow of Giants
This cache might take you a while to find! Or, you might just get super lucky and come across it quickly. It has been placed to be more of a challenge (hence the difficulty rating) and is off the path to enable searching time without the need for looking over your shoulder.
It is located in a dog recreation area, adjacent to the Whakarewarewa Forest. Bring your furry canine friends and you may pass some muggles on your way, who might also have their canine friends, often off leash. The area is full of 'giants' and is part of ongoing research by Scion, who are located just up the road. Scion specialises in research, science and technology development for the forestry, wood product, wood-derived materials, and other biomaterial sectors. You may have figured out what the 'giants' are by now, but that probably won't be too much help to you.
The best parking is on Long Mile Road, however you may find somewhere closer. There are multiple paths and ways into the cache location - that will be the easy part.
Congratulations to the first finders who did so without a hint - hint has now been added to cut down the search area but still trying to maintain the difficulty level. Enjoy the hunt!
