La Biblioteca Publica Municipal de Los Alcázares se fundó en el 1986, estando integrada dentro de la anterior Casa de la Cultura; más tarde se trasladó a otra dependencia hasta que en el año 1996 se construye el actual edificio que alberga la biblioteca, integrado dentro del polideportivo municipal, con acceso independiente. Se trata de un edificio en planta baja perfectamente iluminado e insonorizado.
A principios de año la Biblioteca Municipal de Los Alcázares pasa a llamarse B.P. Municipal “Miguel Galindo”.

The Municipal Public Library of Los Alcázares was founded in 1986, being integrated into the previous House of Culture; later it was moved to another unit until 1996 when the current building that houses the library was built, integrated into the municipal sports center, with independent access. It is a perfectly lit and soundproofed ground floor building.
At the beginning of the year, the Los Alcázares Municipal Library is renamed B.P. Municipal "Miguel Galindo".
