Geocache Description:

South of Stockholm there is a place called "Kungens Kurva" (The Kings Kurve), named after an accident that happend the 28th Sept 1946, were Swedish King Gustav V's car (a Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Sedan) drove into a water filled ditch. Nobody was injured.

Then there is Kai's Kurva somewhere in Norway, where the initiator of this cache jumped his motorcycle into an almost 2m deep water filled ditch, when he got a bit sleepy and missed a "sudden" unexpected right turn. A stunt he would have never been able to perform willingly. No motorcycles were damaged in this event and the driver was not hurt either.

So now there is also Kaarlo's Kurva near Älmesbo, which got it's very own geocache. It's almost a drive in - forgive me the irony! ;-) Here my friend Kaarlo a few days ago got a bit too close to the edge of the gravel road when meeting a car that drove in the middle of the curve, instead of far right. The Ford Transit ended up getting stuck in the ditch, getting rescued a bit later by an unnamed Korean vehicle. Also here no damages occured and nobody was injured.

Bring your own pen - happy caching! :-)
