Geocache Description:

This cache is with the 2022 Clinton County Traffic Safety Geo Trail. Pick up a CCTS Geo Trail Passport at Clinton County Visitors Bureau (located at 212 N. Jay St., Lock Haven, PA 17745) to collect 20 keyword(s) that are found under the lid of each cache. Once you've found all the caches and recorded all the keywords, return to Clinton County Visitors Bureau to redeem for your 2022 CCTS geocoin.

NOTE: Please leave the cache exactly how you found it, so that it is hidden for the next cacher.

Home to the Clinton County Arts Council, The Station (art) Gallery is housed in a beautifully restored train station that was physically moved from nearby Mill Hall to Lock Haven when a group of concerned citizens took action to prevent the historic building from being torn down. The City of Lock Haven became the new owner and leased the building long-term to the Arts Council, whose members provided the sweat-labor to restore the facility. New exhibits each month showcase local and regional artists, and the Gallery hosts community events such as an Earth Day Festival, Harvest Days festival, and adult and children’s workshops.

If possible, be sure to visit and admire the exhibits. Speaking of admiring, I admire motorists who wear their seat belt. Did you know that wearing your seat belt is the best way to keep yourself and your passengers safe in the event of a crash? A seat belt increases your chances of surviving a crash by up to 60 percent. In a 30 mph crash, an unrestrained adult is thrown with a force of 3 1/2 tons, which is about the weight of an elephant.
