You are looking for a small cache, don't let your GPS take you into the moat! ( please leave it on the fence, no need to remove it, just simply undo the lid)
This is on a well maintained field so ok for pushchairs and I think wheel chair users when dry.
We decided to place our first cache in the grounds near Framlingham castle as we often enjoy a long walk around this area. We have to thank Framlingham castle for giving kind permission to allowing us to log this cache. This area is normally very quite during the early morning and late afternoon but very busy during the summer time with visitors of the castle parking and having picnics on the field. There are a few little caches placed locally around Framlingham so please do stay and take a nice stroll and enjoy the market town.
Framlingham Castle is a magnificent 12th century fortress with a long and colourful past which makes a fascinating family day out wether you visit the actual castle or just enjoy a walk around the outside and around the mere. The castle was once the refuge of Mary Tudor before she became Queen in 1553 and visitors can now explore over 800 years of life at Framlingham Castle in the ‘From Powerhouse to Poorhouse’ exhibition.
Well done to _Argus_ for getting here first.
