The Friendship Community Center is the gathering place for residents of the Beech Creek and Blanchard areas. Built in 1865, it was home to the Presbyterian Church before becoming the community center in the 1970s. Restoration of this historic building is ongoing. It’s an active hub for community gatherings and also can be rented for private events. A section of the building houses a satellite library of the Annie Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven where folks can enjoy a good novel or read up on a variety of topics.
