Geocache Description:

David is the bald guy, David's beloved geo-dogs Meisha and Takota, Look closely where his finger is pointing at the bison tube--he retrieved that one from the top of the wall!, David almost missed this bison tube in a tree.  I think Meisha actually found it for him!

*****CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES*****

The first time I remember meeting David (sixbearsclan), I was looking for one of his cache hides (GC8Z0JY), trying for FTF.  It was published late afternoon and I went looking for it early evening.  I looked around a long time and finally gave up as it was getting dark.  Next day, 9/11/2020, I was at it again still having no luck when an ugly bald-headed dude came riding up the path on a bike and asked me if I was looking for a cache.  (Sorry David, just had to poke some fun at you—you aren't ugly.)  I said yes and he said he was the CO and introduced himself.  He said it was missing, so we both looked around for it to no avail.  When we gave up, we sat down at a nearby picnic table and chatted for awhile.  While sitting there David noticed something in the trash can and lo and behold it was the missing cache (a cool cane with the container taped to the end.)  I could understand a muggle stealing the cane, but why toss it in the trash???  David  had brought along a replacement container (he's always prepared) and he let me sign as FTF!  To make a long story short(er) David and I became good friends and have done a lot of caching together since that first meeting. If not for the missing cache, I might never have met him, and I would count that a great loss.  He later introduced me to two of his geocaching friends, SoulDragon and BoothSQuad. A nicer bunch of three guys you will never meet. The three of them have helped me immensely with the hobby, patiently answering my dumb questions, helping me with puzzles, and the ins and outs of geocaching, since I was a newbie at the time (and still am compared to them).  We have all become good friends and I thank you all for accepting me into your little group!

Recently sixbearsclan passed 6,000 finds.  And he has probably picked up more than 6,000 pieces of trash while geocaching.  He's that kind of guy.  Here's to your next 6000 buddy!  Thanks for all you've done for the hobby and for being a good friend!
