Yes, I am nuts for the WRGT. Aren't you?
Remember...wherever you go on the WRGT, there is a chance that you will encounter Poison Ivy and/or Ticks. Please plan accordingly.
------------------------------
The Western Reserve Greenway Trail (WRGT) is a paved trail that runs through Ashtabula County and extends into Trumbull County. The trail receives no public funds and is up kept by grants and donations only. It is totally maintained by volunteers so please keep the trail beautiful and as always CITO. In Ashtabula County, a Park Ranger patrols the trail, along with a volunteer bike patrol.
The WRGT GeoTrail is placed by the "Western Reserve Geocachers" and utilizes caches placed in Ashtabula County only. Souvenier Coins will be awarded on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. In order to earn the Geocoin you must complete the entire 26 miles of trail within Ashtabula County and write down 2 code words from each mile of trail into your passport.
Each mile has 3 or 4 code words with the words located on lids and/or logs. Once you have at least 2 words from each mile, you can receive your coin from the ACC&VB on Austinburg Rd (at GC2ZNZW) or at Shannons Mini Mart on RT 307 in Austinburg, once the coins are available.
