Calling all Geocaching Detectives to our Fourth Annual Clue Event!
Crime is once again in the air - and by now each of you knows the routine!
Another beloved member of our geocaching community has been found lifeless and cold - a victim of a horrific crime. We fear the worst. Your lead CSIs (Criminal Scene Investigators) Lacknothing, Ranger Boy and Silyngufy have gathered preliminary evidence and believe they have established a motive. However, until the lab runs the preliminary tests and verifies their suspicions, nothing can be disclosed, NOT even the identity of our victim.
What We Know
- The victim was skilled in the creation of cache hides.
- The victim was sarcastic in nature, effectively increasing the number of "persons of interest" who might have done the deed.
- The scene of this crime is a local park where once there was a complex RB multicache.
- A weapon of opportunity was used - but WHICH ONE? So many choices!
Your task, should you wish to join this pretigious CSI Team of Investigators will be:
- Watch this event page for further details!
- Show up on July 19th!
- Make no assumptions!
- Leave no stone (or rock) unturned!
- And remember - guilty, until proven innocent - we truly believe the criminal is amongst us!
We will see you at Wagner Park on Tuesday, July 19th. You may want to arrive early as briefing will begin precisely at 6:02 p.m.
Water bottles will be provided. Feel free to bring your own beverages (check local ordinances). Snacks to share are welcome - as substance may be needed!
