Welcome to the Terre Haute Urban Night Cache.
After dark there will be lots of parking near the initial coordinates. Park nearby grab your flashlight (nothing too dim, medium to very bright is good) and head to the first coordinates. Once you get to the first coordinates shine your light east (back toward the mall) and look for the markers. They will be of varying heights and they may skip an object here and there. Just keep finding the next marker and walk to the next one. If you see a red marker next to a white one...turn in the direction of the red marker. (Red tack on the right side of the white tack = 90 degree right turn) These are all roughly 90 degree turns. The final location is three reds. You are looking for trail markers or small reflective arrows that will be facing you or that you'll pass along your way. On the back stretch there are a few arrows of vastly differing heights. The arrows are stuck to metal objects were the tack markers wouldn't work. If you see a marker pointing up, up doesn't mean up, lol, up means forward. You won't need your flashlights turned on the whole time, just long enough to find the next maker or complete the turn. The total walk will be about .6/.7 miles if you don't get off the path too much.
You won't cross any roads when you do this, it will all be in the parking lot and the sidewalk and you'll find your way back there. The back stretch is the toughest and the markers are more spread out. Remember, 90 degree turn near the red and keep going straight.
The final long leg has no circular tacks until near the end, all arrows along the way on both sides of the drive. When you find the three red circles at the end you're there. The tool is provided.
Thanks to Heaastaack for the guidance on the final, needed a different urban camo than I usually use and they were very very helpful!!
Happy caching, message me if you need help.
