新府城趾

新府城は、天正9年（1581）に武田勝頼によって築城されました。城は未完成でしたが、同年の9月頃には友好諸国に築城が報じられ、12月24日に躑躅ケ崎館（武田氏館跡 山梨県甲府市）からの移転が行われました。しかし、天正10年3月3日、勝頼は織田軍侵攻を目前にして自ら城に火を放ち退去し、3月11日に田野（山梨県甲州市大和町）において、夫人と息子信勝ともに自害し、武田氏は滅亡してしまいます。
その後、同年に徳川氏と北条氏による甲斐国争奪をめぐる天正壬午の戦いがおこり、徳川家康は新府城を本陣として再利用しました。
新府城が立地する七里岩は、八ヶ岳の山体崩壊にともなう岩屑流が、西と東側を流れる釜無川と塩川の侵食によって形成された台地で、西側の断崖絶壁は韮崎から長野県の蔦木（諏訪郡富士見町）まで約30キロメートル続き、奇観を呈しています。
キャッシュは新府城趾に設置しました。Tは山城ゆえのアクセスを加味しています。歩きやすい靴でどうぞ。
（新府城阯には以前に設置されたキャッシュがありましたが、工事等の理由によりアーカイブされました。ここは歴史があり、眺めも素晴らしいことから改めて設置させていただきました）

Shinpu Castle Site

Shinpu Castle was built by Katsuyori Takeda in 1581. Although the castle was not yet complete, the construction of the castle was reported to friendly countries around September of the same year, and on December 24, the castle was moved from Ajitsujikazaki-kan (the site of the Takeda family mansion in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture). However, on March 3, Tensho 10, Katsuyori set fire to the castle and left before the Oda invasion, and on March 11, his wife and son Nobukatsu committed suicide in Tano (Yamato-cho, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture), thus destroying the Takeda clan.
Later that year, the Tensho Imbo Battle took place between the Tokugawa and Hojo clans over the Kai Province, and Tokugawa Ieyasu used Shinpu Castle as his headquarters.
Shichiri-iwa, where Shinpu Castle is located, is a plateau formed by the erosion of the Kamanashi River and the Shiogawa River, which flow west and east of the Yatsugatake Mountains, and the cliff on the west side extends about 30 km from Nirasaki to Tsutagi in Nagano Prefecture (Fujimi Town, Suwa County), creating a strange sight.
The cache is located at the site of Shinpu Castle. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
