Le WN 60 est un point Allemand fortifié situé à l’extrémité est de la plage d’Omaha. Il comprenait un poste d’observation de l’artillerie en liaison téléphonique avec une batterie d’artillerie divisionnaire. Quarante soldats y stationnaient en permanence.
