Geocache Description:

This batch of caches in our Pokemon series is aimed at beginner cachers. These should be easy park and grabs to get acquainted with the hobby! It's recommended to search this one out in the evening or on weekends to avoid muggles at the office park.

Here's another installment of our series, a tribute to the Pokemon games and trading cards that Kirill adored oh so much as a kid in the late 90s and early aughts. Let's get to know one of the original 151, Magnemite! You should be able to spot this Poke in its natural habitat at GZ.

Magnemite is a Steel/Electric Pokemon introduced in Generation One, gaining its Steel type in Generation Two. It's a seemingly robotic Pokémon that has a gray, spherical metal body with blue-and-red tipped horseshoe magnets on each side and a single, large eye. It has three Phillips head screws on its body: two near the bottom of its body and the one on top of its head that looks similar to an antenna. The two bottom screws serve no noticeable purpose, although they may be its feet as the Pokédex identifies a footprint similar to that of the screw's head. Even though Magnemite and its evolved forms are mechanical creatures, the anime has shown that it has emotions and a way of reproducing.
