This cache is not on private property but it is still near and very close to private property so please do be very respectful of the land around it and maybe do some CITO and clean up any trash near the stump. I ask that you DO NOT under any circumstances that you do not get this cache when is it dark out or the sun is setting.
This cache was placed in Honner of my Uncle Frank and Auntie Bridget, who moved to Ohio in July of 2022. They lived just outside of Preston for almost 20 years. And, sadly, they are leaving the Pacific northwest.
I have been coming up here since I was the size of a domestic house cat (Weird comparison but hopefully that gets the message across that I was very little). My uncle frank use to set up Modle trains in the backyard for Christmas and me and my other little cousins would all drive the trains. Recently I got the two Coast Guard vets of them into Geocaching. And they loved it.
The cache is an Ammo that can under the stump. There is room for plenty of swag and trackable inside. You can also discover the Ammo Can as a Travel bug. Feel free to come and visit the stump any day and trade in and out travel bugs any day.
