Vancouver's beaches are some of the best in the world; boasting golden sand, incredible mountain and city backdrops, plus plenty of opportunities for outdoor sports from volleyball to kayaking. The city beaches are also very accessible by bike, transit or by walking for locals and tourists alike to enjoy. This Adventure Lab will take you to a few of the west side beaches. The featured beaches span approximately 5 kms along the west side of the city facing Burrard Inlet and the mountains. The area is connected by bike and walking paths and do have transit access. Parking fees may apply at the dedicated lots during the summer high season.
