wansbeck Riverside Park is a great for all the family and dogs,it covers 112 hectares of woodland,grassland and of course the river.There is free parking with a cafe open 9am -4pm,picnic tables and a child's park,you might see mallard,moorhen,Canada geese,swans and heron.On a nice summer evening you can often see paddle borders or canoeist's enjoying the river.
