The hide is located along the wooded trail behind the pavilion/picnic area. Park entrance is off Ritter Rd (I've provided a waypoint for park entrance). When you enter the park, go all the way back to the stone hut and you'll see the unmarked trailhead. You can park anywhere near that hut.
Basically the park hours are "open every day" approximately 8:00am until dark. The caretaker stated officially that she usually closes the gate at dusk or dark if there is nobody at the park. In the Winter you'll have to park at the gate and walk up.
Note: Sometimes the park/pavilion area may be closed due to a private party. If that's the case, you can park near the gate and walk the broken trail up the woods to the GZ with some minor bushwacking.
