Geocache Description:

King Edward VII coronation fountain

This glazed brick water fountain was erected by the people of Eynsford for the coronation of King Edward VII is no longer is use, but is preserved in a good condition. Built with brown bricks surrounding a blue glazed brick fountain set into the wall.

The coronation of Edward VII and his wife, Alexandra, as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and as Emperor and Empress of India took place at Westminster Abbey, London, on 9 August. Originally scheduled for 26 June of that year, the ceremony had been postponed at very short notice, because the King had been taken ill with an abdominal abscess that required immediate surgery. In contrast to the previous coronation some 64 years previously, Edward's had been carefully planned as a spectacle reflecting the influence and culture of the British Empire, then at the height of its power, but also as a meaningful religious occasion.

The plaque has two numbers in roman numerals on it. Convert them to regular arabic numbers, A and BCDE, then the cache can be found at:

N51 22. D A A-E

E0 12. C B+E A-B-E

It's easier to approach from the bottom rather than the top. Update 27/7/24: when set that was the easier way. From logs I gather it's changed and now easier from the top.
