Near where the cache is placed is the grave of Moses Allen who came to the area in 1827 and settled in the area that would be known as Allen’s Prairie, later Allen. Moses Allen was married to Mary, sadly Mary is buried in Rumsey Corners, Wayne County. Next to Moses Allen in an unmarked grave is his daughter Amelia Allen Divine who died at the age of 17 after child birth, her son survived.
