Lukajno Lake Biosphere Reserve
Jezioro Luknajno zostalo w 1937r. objete ochrona prawna.Jest polozone w Mazurskim Parku Krajobrazowym ok. 5 km od Mikolajek. Srednia glebokosc 0,6 m; maksymalna 3 m, o powierzchni 680 ha, dlugosci 3,3 km i szerokosci 2,9 km. Jest waskim kanalem polaczone z Jeziorem Sniardwy.Do okola jeziora sa sciezki rowerowe i wieze widokowe. Jezioro jest znane od dziesiatek lat jako wyjatkowe siedlisko labedzia niemego (Cygnus olor) – corocznie gniazduje od kilkunastu do kilkudziesieciu par labedzi, a na pierzenie przybywa ich ok. 2 tys. sztuk. Dodatkowo zyje jeszcze ok 175 innych rodzai ptakow i 30 rodzai zwierzat np.bobry, sarny, losie. Od 1977 Luknajno nalezy do sieci Miedzynarodowych Rezerwatów Biosfery UNESCO. cache znajduje sie bezposrednio przy wiezy widokowej. Nie trzeba kopac.
english The Jezioro Luknajno was already under nature conservation in 1937. It is located in the Mazurski Park Krajobrazowy (Masurian landscape park) about 5 km from Mikolajki. The lake has a size of 6.8 km⊃2;, is 115 m over MSL and is an average of 0.60 m, max. 3 m deep. It is connected by a narrow channel with the Sniardwy. Around the lake are designated hiking and bike paths and 3 viewing platforms. In 1977 the area was declared a UNESCO biosphere reserve and Ramsar region. The reason is the many birds that breed here. It is Europe's largest breeding area of huddling swans, there are around 1300 breeding pairs every year. In addition, 175 birds and 30 types of mammals live here. In addition to the hump swans, you can also watch beavers, sea eagles, fishing eagles and also moose. The cache is located directly on the viewing platform. It doesn't have to be dug.
german Das Jezioro Luknajno (deutsch Lucknainer See) wurde bereits 1937 unter Naturschutz gestellt. Er liegt im Mazurski Park Krajobrazowy (Masurischen Landschaftspark) ca. 5 km von Mikolajki entfernt. Der See hat eine Größe von 6,8 km⊃2;, liegt 115 m über NN und ist im Schnitt 0,60 m, max. 3 m tief. Er ist durch einen schmalen Kanal mit dem Sniardwy (deutsch Spirding-See) verbunden. Um den See herum sind ausgewiesene Wander- und Radwege und 3 Aussichtsplattformen. 1977 wurde das Gebiet zum UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat und Ramsargebiet erklärt. Grund sind die vielen Vögel die hier brüten. Es ist Europas größtes Brutgebiet von Höckerschwänen, es nisten hier jährlich ca. 1300 Brutpaare. Zusätzlich leben hier 175 Vogel- und 30 Säugetierarten. Man kann neben den Höckerschwänen auch Biber, Seeadler, Fischadler und auch Elche beobachten. Der Cache befindet sich unmittelbar an der Aussichtsplattform. Es muss nicht gegraben werden.
