Hello! And welcome to another CASH Cache.
Please don't get too excited by the name. There is no money to be found inside the container. In this instance, CASH stands for Concealed Around St Helier. And that's exactly what I intend to do. Bit by bit I hope to create a series of geocaches that encircles the whole of St Helier.
This one is situated near the Freedom Tree – a sculpture that was unveiled by The Queen on 9th May 2005 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Liberation of Jersey. The location also offers excellent views of the marina and of Elizabeth Castle.
Please note: It’s likely that you’ll have to exercise stealth when you’re looking for the cache here. It’s a popular spot with walkers/joggers/cyclists. Try you’re best not to arouse too much unwanted attention!
