Na kopci Šanec
sa nachádza rozhľadňa v nadmorskej výške 465 m n. m. Zaujímavosťou je že maximálna výška rozhľadne bola obmedzená kvôli blízkemu letisku Ražňany. Rozhľadňa má dve podlažia a je vystavaná drevenou konštrukciou. V okolí sa nachádza posedenie, ktoré poskytuje výhľad na región Šariš od Šarišského hradného vrchu, Hradovú, Zobranu, Malkovskú hôrku, cez Makovicu, Bodoň, Lysú, Čiernu Horu až po Šimonku.
Práve okolo miesta na posedenie sa nachádza odpad po návštevníkoch, ktorý do prírody nepatrí a kazí celkový dojem z návštevy miesta. 

On the hill Šanec there is a lookout tower at an altitude of 465 m above sea level. The maximum height of the lookout tower was limited due to the nearby airport Ražňany.
The lookout tower has two floors and is built of wooden construction. Right around the place to sit is a waste of visitors, which does not belong to nature and spoils the overall impression of visiting the place. We will then take the bags with the collected waste to the parking lot, from where they will be taken away.
I will provide garbage bags and working gloves. However, if you have your own, they are definitely suitable for you.
Together we will try to clean up the area as much as possible on Sunday, July 3rd 2022, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
KEDY?
Spoločnými silami sa pokúsime čo najviac okolie vyčistiť a to v nedeľu 3.7.2022 v čase od 13:30 do 14:30. 
Vrecia s nazbieraným odpadom následne znesiem na parkovisko, odkiaľ budú odvezené. 
Vrecia na odpad a rukavice zabezpečím. Ak máš však svoje pracovné pomôcky určite sa ti hodia.
